Trouble Ahead: Meat and Apple flood

As I mention, I had a bit of a hump in the road. Notice the level of the pot, and the amount of apples in the food processor. I am a bit perplexed about how the raisins (three bags), sugar, and fruit are going to fit in there too.

And with a little magic, all the apples, and now all the raisins and spices are nestled all snugly all warm in the pot. This pot is beginning to remind me of the Volkswagen that is filled with 100 clowns...

In goes a cup of Molasses. My mother used to tell me that I was "Slower than molasses running up hill". I could also have been related to it running down hill as well..

In goes the brown sugar.

Where am I coming up with all this room? The wonders of mincemeat continue to amaze me...

And finally, the oranges and lemon. The smell is intoxicating. I have decided to let it cook for the morning. Thats one mother of a pie I can make. (I am going to be bottling some and give it away for Christmas)
