I think I need a preamble

Susan at Fridayplaydate said that "And you in the green shirt" are tagged. Well. I am wearing a green shirt. Actually its chartreuse...but let's not quibble semantics.

Here it is:

The Rules:
1. Go into your archive.
2. Find your 23rd post.
3. Find the fifth sentence (or closest to).
4. Post the text of the sentence in your blog along with these instructions.
5. Tag five other people to do the same.

So I wrnt to my 23rd post and did all of the above and lo and behold:

I think I need a preamble

I nearly fell over in fits of giggles. Its just so...so...so...apropos.

I'll tag Hotboy...because I just know that the 5th sentence in his 23rd post will say something about juju or rabliss. I'm willing to bank on it...although I've never been a gambler.

And while I am at it...some public service announcements.

One of my trusted colleagues and I are going to gather and have a Dark Side of the Rainbow viewing. Give it a whirl. At the very least you'll listen to one of the very best albums ever created. Ever.

And check out Hildebrand Road, not only is her site lovely to look at - there is a really cool series of stories about to unfold. I am really looking forward to what is in store. Like in the same way I anticipate another episode of Lost on the Season 1 DVD set (I've rationed myself to one a weekend) I plan to offer my own contributions here on the Big Picture, probably this weekend.

Finally, if you want some free quality reading, check out Hotboy's novels at his personal website. I managed to read the first page of Buddha and the Big Bad Wolf and promised myself to read more. It sounds alot like a Bruce Chatwin novel. Great writing. Hope you can gather some good juju and snag an agent

Samaramom: Okay, I ran through the posts. Never did that before. 5th sentence, 23rd post said: "If he's supposed to have saved you, how does getting crucified do it?" Hardly Socrates! I'll have to blog more about ra bliss! Hotboy

Got to the end of the post. What a sweetie! The Buddha and the Big Bad Wolf needs another ten drafts. Bomber has a good first chapter. The Real McCoy should be amusing and different. Nobody's ever read the play. Only takes an hour. Be totally weird to someone in USA. But thanks for the namecheck! Hotboy

Thank you so much for the nice compliment! My brother-in-law teaches religion at a university down here, and I went to my first Dark Side of the Rainbow showing at his place. Ironic, considering your line of work. Hee hee...
