You know it's not often that I get requests...
Mc Etcher has an itch over a blue line. Thank goodness its not a double blue line like on a Clear Blue Easy. Heh. For those of you who read me using Firefox, the blue line ought not to be a problem. For those who choose to ride the exploits of Micro$oft, there will be a blue line that seems to strike through "The Big Picture". Figures.
I did test my new design on both browsers and noticed the line issue. Noticing is one thing...fixing it is another. I had someone on a Discussion board recommend some sites to help fix it. I tried and either I failed or the fix wasn't the right fix. So I am at a loss to make this design compatible with both browsers.
Another solution: fix the image. By fix I mean remove the blue line. It is part of the image. Right now Eric is on Big Mama playing civilization. That sounds horribly smutty. I'll translate before I derail any more minds into the gutter: My husband is playing a terribly addictive game on our main computer, the computer with my awesome photo-editor (Corel Photo-Paint 10). I will not even think to attempt .jpeg manip on this laptop where I muse. It can barely open 2 windows at a time. (But I can blog in my backyard - so I am not complaining *too* hard).
So, when I have access to Big Mama, I will rid the world of the fetid blue line.
If that were all it takes to find world peace....ridding the world of blue lines, one line at a time...

Ya know...that blue line really bugged me. But, I wasn't gonna say anything. Glad to know what the deal is. I thought I was missing some big symbolic thing. It's a relief to know I'm not that dense. Or, maybe I am since I thought it was significant. Happy blogging in your backyard. Isn't that the best!?
I had a similar problem trying to make my template work on both browsers, and like you it worked better in FF.
I notice your PC is named after your mother. Or maybe mother-in-law? I wonder what this means.
And have you explained to her why there's a rooster in a tutu exposing himself to a minor on your icon?
That's not a deliberate line then? I quite like it; a refutation, a striking through of Mara and self-deception and all that.
I am positively THRILLED that many of you assumed my blue line had some deep and symbolic meaning.
Rob - my PC is named after ME and my icon is supposed to be Alice and the Caterpillar...but maybe I need to double check the browser with that ..figures that microsoft would screw that up too!!
LOL. And I was expecting harsh words, not a funny post!
Big Momma might be the funniest thing I've heard in a long time, so thanks for that.
This was a great post. Funny, a dash of smutty, and a computer issue too, a little something for everyone!
