The Great Mincemeat Blog Festival

Will be postponed until Sunday.

How disappointing! I know many of you had set your alarms and marked your calendars for today's grand event. However, due to unforseen circumstances, making mincemeat will not be possible today. You see, I lent my biggest pot to my best friend and poor weather (and hence driving conditions) prevented its return. Tomorrow, the pot shall be returned, and hence, the Great Mincemeat Blog festival shall commence. After procuring all the necessary ingredients, its going to be one massive batch of mincemeat. Let the carnivale begin! (tomorrow!!)

So, mark your calendars (again) folks!

Mincemeat is beyond my ken, but so is -35. It hit -17 in Scotland years ago and went out to try to remember what it might be like. Blinking cold. You think: you could die in this! -2 or -3 is usually as bad as it gets here. What heroes and pioneers you all are! Hotboy

Eric: Would they shoot you if you blogged about that? Here we had secret videos on the news of Royal Marines running around battering each other in the bollock naked during initiation rights. Blotto on wife beater (Stella Artois)as well. Well, they couldn't get up to that malarkey at forty below. Forty below? Is a sovereignty exercise when you let the eskimos know who's boss? How can you live at forty below? Who's out there trying to rip it off? Does anything work at that temperature. Anyway, if you keep well wrapped up, it's bound to help. Hotboy. p.s. In tents? Won't your nose freeze off if it sticks out to breath? Dearie me!
